About Tina Stanley
A warm welcome to you!
I was raised a small town girl not too far from where I have made my home in Wasaga Beach. My husband, James and I are happily busy raising our two teenagers ( sometimes by luck more then anything!) We enjoy the peaceful energy of our home nestled in the woods and take advantage of the natural beauty the beach has to offer. I am passionate about writing, photography, people and of course holistic healing. From a very early age I have been able to intuit energy and have slowly over the years developed my sensitivity and experience to offer professional healing services to others. |
Education
|
I have been in the human service field for over 20 years starting my career as a Developmental Service Worker graduating with honors from Humber College in 1994. I was so inspired by the people I worked with, it taught me to look beyond what others see as challenges and to find the strength and beauty in us all. After years of working with people with special needs, I then took some time to raise our young children and went back to school in 2009 to upgrade my education and graduated from Georgian College's Activation Techniques in Gerontology program. Hearing the stories and reliving old memories with my clients continued to fuel my passion for people, their experiences, what shapes and makes them who they are. We all have a story waiting to be told and witnessed.
Despite the rewards of family and career, I still felt something was missing. I was not using my natural gifts of healing and intuition as I would have liked. I realized that my tools needed polishing and refinement in order to work with integrity and authenticity. I then make the hard decision to return to school and take a post graduate Spiritual Psychotherapy program in Toronto at Transformational Arts College. This was my missing piece! I now have the tools of a deep understanding of the human psyche and have paired that with my passion and love for Spirit and Energy. I have combined my practical and innate skills to offer holistic, whole body healing. This has proven to be an incredibly effective and powerful approach in transforming lives and I am grateful everyday that I get to fulfill this aspect of my purpose. Peace & Plenty! I am a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists Ontario C.R.P.O Registration # 007486, Registered Psychotherapist
